KINLEY is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
She was well-known as a member of Newfoundland's indie ensemble Hey Rosetta! for ten years. She now writes and records her own material. She also writes and records string tracks for many artists in her home studio. KINLEY's second solo album, 'KINLEY", was released on Feb. 21, 2020. She released her first solo debut album, Letters Never Sent, in October 2016.
KINLEY is one of the most sought after string players when violin and/or viola are required for a studio album. She has recorded on over 70 records over the span of her career and her album credits include: MAdison Violet, Jenn Grant, Hey Rosetta!, Matt Mays, Two Hours Traffic, Molly Rankin, In Flight Safety, Buck 65, Classified, Rita McNeil, Dennis Ellsworth, and many more.
As a member of Hey Rosetta!, Kinley has toured Australia, USA, Canada and Europe multiple times, appearing at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Ottawa Bluesfest, and Mumford and Sons Gentlemen of the Road tour. She's also seen multiple appearances with Grammy-winning artist Anne Murray.
