Cat Clarke is a screenwriter and best-selling, award-winning author of seven YA novels. Born in Zambia and based in Edinburgh, she has a distinct voice, capturing both humour and darkness. In 2021, Cat wrote a 'minisode' for GOOD OMENS 2. Her shark film, SOMETHING IN THE WATER, is due to go into production in 2022 with Studiocanal. She is developing her latest novel, WE ARE YOUNG for a UK broadcaster with Lime Pictures, and has various TV projects in development. In 2020, Cat participated in the writers room and wrote an episode for the British series of CALL MY AGENT. Her comedy drama TV script, NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN, was featured in the 2019 Brit List for the best unproduced scripts in the UK.
