Milorad Milinkovic (born 1965 in Belgrade) is a well-known Serbian film director and screenwriter. He is also writer, guitarist, singer, songwriter, composer, critic, actor and sports commentator. Milorad grew up in Dorcol, an urban neighborhood in Belgrade. The nickname Debeli (Fatty) he got in childhood follows him since then. In 1985 he founded his own band "Morbidi i mnoci". Shortly after his music episode, Milorad Milinkovic turns to the film world and goes to Novi Sad at the Academy of Arts, where he entered the section director. He graduated on the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1991. He is best known for his major film "Mrtav 'ladan" and for directing the first Serbian 3D film, "Peti leptir". He is also one of the chasers in the Serbian version of the game show "The Chase" ("Potera"). He is married to a actress Jelena Djukic with whom he has a daughter, Divna. Milorad is a creative person, he loves to travel, watch movies and and try out in different professions.
