- Starred in the shelved movie Bruce Lee Memorial International "Baba"(1997) Starring Ram Sethi, Ali Khan,Saud Khan, Ashalata,Sadhu Meher, Music by Manjeet Arora, Directed by Rana Jaiswal.
- Was going to direct a film in 1993, but it was shelved due to the Bombay riots.
- In 2003, Prakashji and he tried to approach Amitabh Bachchan for a film. They even finalized a script. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as Prakash had heart surgery and Ram was busy acting in television serials.
- He made some television serials, which he wanted to air on Doordarshan. The financier was an American and refused to pay a bribe to Doordarshan and the serials couldn't be aired.
- Wanted to direct more films. But Prakash Mehra did not want Ram Sethi to go separate from him. So he always remained his assistant.
- His elder son stays with Ram and works in an IT firm. Younger son Vikrant Sethi is married and settled in Australia.
