Glenn Curry was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick to Joseph & Sandra Curry of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He has two siblings, Blaise & Shaun.
Building on his experience in commercial & illustrative design, Glenn enrolled in the animation program at NBCC Miramichi in 1996. There he was mentored by several esteemed artists including classical animator Harold Duckett, fine artist Carla Collette, international musician/composer Terry Gadsen and premiere Canadian wildlife painter Geordie Millar.
Pre-graduation, Glenn secured work with one of NBCC's international partners in Ireland: EMG Dublin. There he created instructional animations for Microsoft Office training software.
He returned to Canada for post- graduate studies and landed his first film & TV work as storyboard artist on the Bo Derek thriller Frozen with Fear (2001) and the science fiction series Starhunter (2000)
In 2001, Glenn was invited to teach classical animation at the College of the North Atlantic in Stephenville, Newfoundland. Originally a term role, the position was expanded and he stayed on for 4 years as coordinating instructor of the 3D animation program.
In 2005, moved to California to further his aspirations in VFX. At Omation Entertainment in San Clemente he would complete his first contract on an animated feature, Barnyard (2006)
From Vancouver to California to New Zealand, Glenn has contributed to a wide variety of live action & animated projects. In 2013, Glenn moved to Montreal, Canada to work as FX supervisor.
