William 'Duke' Meeks(1931-2016)

Special Projects Forces in Vietnam 1964-65 and on to "Man in the Sea Program" as well the Nuclear disaster in Palomares, Spain. Launched a Mid-East Diving Company, Hydrospace that specialized in deep saturation diving such as India, North Sea, South East Asia and Nova Scotia. Projects in Kuwait after the war included the clearing of the main sea port of all unexploded ordnance & sunken boats. Responsible for clearing all unexploded ordnance and military vehicles from the Bergan Oil Field. Project managed the installation of two single point mooring systems for the fueling of tankers and the building of The Small Boat Harbour for the Kuwait Oil Co.
