Sophia Haoues

Sophia was born in Montpellier, France and grew up from the age of 4 in Nabeul, Tunisia. From her mothers side she is French and from her fathers side she is Tunisian. She studied at the French high school in La Marsa/Tunisia and obtained her baccalaureate in literature and language. She then studied in France at the University of Social Sciences in Montpellier, before enrolling at the Fine Arts School in Tunis where she studied arts and crafts. She began her postgraduate studies at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Audiovisuel in Toulouse before obtaining her doctorate at the Tunis Institute of Fine Arts with honors and a recommendation for publication of her thesis. In the meantime, Sophia joined the world of cinema as an assistant director. She taught also as a master assistant at the Institut Supérieur des Arts Multimédia de la Manouba, Tunisia.
She worked as an assistant director on music videos under the direction of Elyes Baccar, then on a corporate film for UNICEF and a corporate documentary. Sophia is an emerging high-profile screenwriter and has a strong work ethic. She has participated in a wide variety of corporate films and documentaries in differing capacities including as a director and writer. She is recognized for her commitment to writing pertinent stories and creating intricate characters.
