Zachary Wan

Zachary Wan (born 15 July, 2005) is an Asian-Australian actor, based in Sydney. Zachary plays the role of 'Darren Dang' in Netflix's highly anticipated adaptation of Trent Dalton's "Boy Swallows Universe" (2024). He is also known for his role as 'Elliot' in the main cast of Australian Romantic Comedy 'Never Too Late' (2020), alongside film icons such as James Cromwell, Jacki Weaver, Jack Thompson, Roy Billing and Dennis Waterman. He also played a supporting role as 'Jiao' in Netflix's sci-fi drama series 'The Unlisted' (2019).
Zachary is a third generation Asian-Australian of Hong Kong-Chinese and Vietnamese roots. He developed his passion for performing arts through his active engagement with various stage and music performances throughout his time at St Aloysius College. Zachary has undergone various acting training through various studios, including the likes of NIDA's Young Actors Studio, Sydney Theatre Company's 'Young Wharfies' Program , Les Chantery Studio and ATYP & Screenwise Courses. Alongside his acting career, he has a love for music and sports. He has a strong background in singing and music creation, particularly vocal skills and composition, as well as an avid love for basketball. He passion for performing arts is evident in theatre and screen.
