Charlotte has designed period, fantasy and contemporary costumes for a number of critically acclaimed projects.
As a Costume Designer, her first production was Playtone & HBO's award- winning feature, Starter for 10, set in the 1980s (with James McAvoy, Benedict Cumberbatch & Rebecca Hall). Since then her design credits have most recently included John Hurt's last film, That Good Night; Surge with Ben Whishaw; contemporary TV series such as Tin Star with Tim Roth and Christina Hendricks; Legends, with Sean Bean; the gritty crime drama Top Boy for Netflix and the Hong Kong based thriller White Dragon.
She has also designed fantasy productions, such as Merlin and the comedy feature based on Shakespeare, Bill. In addition, she designed costumes for the period drama Lightfileds - a series spanning the forties, seventies and present day.
Previously, Charlotte gained extensive experience as Assistant Costume Designer on a number of period genre projects, such as Miramax feature Mansfield Park; and TV productions, including the BAFTA winning Bleak House, The way We Live Now and Blackpool.
Charlotte's passion for Costume design started while studying Art & Art history at Cambridge where she designed for both Footlights and the ADC. After graduating, Charlotte worked for 3 years at the costumiers Angels & Bermans where she was fortunate to work with many well-established designers.
Charlotte has worked France, Canada, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Portugal, Romania and The Czech Republic.
