A month later to the same year, Shin appeared in the Netflix drama "The Glory", portraying the younger version of Park Yeon-jin, the main antagonist of the story who persistently bullies the younger version of the protagonist Mun Dong-Eun (portrayed by Jung Ji-so). With her performance on "The Glory", not only was the show hugely successful, but her role was significant as it was the first time she played a villain, a stark contrast to her previously portrayed charming and lively roles.
