Tyler Del Cont is a SoCal born and raised Director/Writer. His love for film started at a very young age, being introduced and taken to the movies all the time by family. It's those memories that he always cherishes and remembers.
Tyler started working on professional film sets in late 2016. When he met a Practical Special Effects Coordinator named Rudy Perez at a local Taco Bell. At the time Rudy had been in the industry for 30-plus years and would become his mentor. Teaching him on set about special effects, pyro work, and the industry itself. Tyler over the years has worked on a multitude of different film projects as a Director, 2nd Assistant Director, Practical Special Effects Assistant, Assistant Prop Master and Production Assistant.
Tyler strives to tell stories that move us emotionally, to not shy away from the complexities of people, good or bad, to challenge us with thought and leave us thinking about our own lives. Capturing a feeling of people, depicting a way of life.
