Sophia Pettit

Sophia Pettit is an English actress. Sophia was born in London on 13th April 2003.
At the age of 10 Sophia made her West End debut in Fatal attraction at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, playing the role of Ellen Gallagher under the direction of Sir Trevor Nunn. Sophia then went on to play the role of Susan Waverly in White Christmas the musical at the Dominion Theatre London. The summer of 2015 saw Sophia land the title role of Annie in the UK tour directed by Nikolai Foster.
Sophia was cast as Katie the bassist in Andrew Lloyd Webbers award winning musical School of Rock. In 2017 Sophia, along with the original band members, won the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement In Music and Sophia was honored to give the acceptance speech at the Royal Albert Hall.
A few months later Sophia went on to play the roles of young Daisy and young Anna in Anatomy of a Suicide at the Royal Court Theatre, written by BAFTA nominee Alice Birch and Directed by Katie Mitchell OBE.
For BBC Radio 4, Sophia's credits include "This is your country now too: Gustav and Franzisca" as Franzisca and "Nuremberg" as Edda Goering. She can be seen in an upcoming sci-fi film DEUS directed by Steve Stone.
