Born and raised in Venice Beach California. Erick opened his first Music Recording Studio in Venice Beach called Lucky Dog Studio's at the age of 19 and operated and ran this successful Studio for over 10 years. Some of his first clients were, Peter Halsten Thorkelson, better known as Peter Tork, was an American musician, composer and actor, best known as the keyboardist and bass guitarist of the Monkees.
Moving up to Santa Cruz California for 8 years, Erick opened up his second Recording Studio called On The Right Track Recording. He was involved with local bands and Jazz club with in Santa Cruz as their mixer and Music recording studio engineer. Also He was working with the City Counsel for setting up and organizing Music Sound Stages and PA Sound Systems for the New Years Eve First Night for over 5 years. For 4 years, Erick also worked for Standford University in the AV department working closely with the University Business and concerts held with in the campus.
Moving back to Los Angeles were Erick reside today, He opened up his current Recording Studio called N2Sound Post Audio. For over 30 years working freelance and with other Post Audio company like The Bakery Digital Sound and Vision, Post Hast Sound, Larson, Sony Pictures, Wanner Brothers Studio, Universal and many other A list Studio, He's been in the Technical Arts of Post Audio learning every step needed for one of the most important part of Film and TV is Sound.
Erick's Education including in his background starts of with a music school he attend called Dick Grove School of Music. After Dick Grove, Erick decided to learn about the Motion Picture and TV process of Post Audio and started back to learn more about the Film industry and attended The Los Angeles Film School. After graduating Film School, 10 years went by and decided to teach, Erick was hired as a teacher for The Los Angeles Film School and worked for over 3 years at the school.
Today, Erick enjoys the technical arts of Post Audio as a Re-Recording Engineer, Supervising Sound Editor and Sound Designer and loving this exciting process of Post Audio for Film and TV.
