Josiah Paul was born Josiah Paul Schreiber in Newport News, Virginia on February 5, 1992 and is of Native American and Irish descent. His parents Kimberly and Eric moved him and his younger sister around the country during his early childhood until his Father eventually retired as a MSgt. in the USAF. In 2002, after his father's retirement, Josiah and his family moved to Metro - Atlanta, Georgia, where he still lives today.
After high school, Josiah dove head first into the entertainment industry, completely submerging himself in the culture. As many actors do, he started his career as a background actor working as an extra on many TV shows, TV movies and feature films around Atlanta. He quickly worked into more featured roles, still with no dialogue, until he eventually started working on independent films by many reputable film makers around the city. More recently, he has principal and co-star roles on several more projects and Television Pilots. In March 2018, Josiah was signed to his first Talent Agency, and remained with them for 2 years. Then, in August 2018, Josiah signed as one of the newest faces of the Atlanta based agency Miles Models and has been dabbling in the modeling industry as a way to grow his following and reach a different fan base. In April of 2019, Josiah signed to yet another premiere modeling agency in Atlanta, NGM Modeling. In March 2020, Josiah Paul was awarded Best Supporting Actor in a Short at the 2020 Garden State Film Festival, for his role as Private O'Ryan in "Walking Point." This year, Garden State Film Fest, which usually has an attendance of over 26,000 people, featured 240 films from over 20 countries. Most recently, in July 2020, Josiah signed to Landrum Arts LA and is now exclusively represented by this agency. Thus far, Josiah is known as a versatile actor and is often one to step out of his comfort zone to explore new elements when taking on a new role.
