Born in Tehran in 1981, Keivan Jamali is a civil engineering graduate of Islamic Azad University. Since 2002, he studied art in acting with professionals such as Masoud Kimiaei and Hamed Nasrabadi.
In 2002, he started his career as assistant director and stage manager in the TV series "The New Designed House" directed by Rambod Javan, and then the comedy series Mosaferan (Rambod Javan), Noon o Reyhoon (Farzad Motman), Sakhteman-e Pezeshkan (Soroush Sehat), Rented House (Shahed Ahmadlou), Detour (Behrang Tofighi), Corner of Tehran (Rambod Javan), No Signal (Mehdi Mazloumi), as well as the drama series "Father's House" directed by Farzad Mahlouji as assistant director and director's adviser.
He also went as a director consultant and 1st AD in "Son of Adam, Daughter of Eve" (Rambod Javan), "No Men Allowed" (Rambod Javan), and "Zapas" (Behrang Tofighi) all feature films.
In 2017 he accompanied Mehdi Mazloumi as writer and director of the "Beautiful City" TV comedy show in Antalya, Turkey for the Persian-speaking audience for 136 episodes.
In 2018, Keivan Jamali operated as production manager and second director on the Iran-Turkey co-production film "Sing Me A Love Song"
