Richard Lederer was the co-producer for Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977) and vice president of
world wide advertising and publicity at Warner Bros. studios for
fifteen years. He established a reputation as one of the most versatile
and imaginative executives in the film industry.
Campaigns for such major releases as My Fair Lady, Bonnie and Clyde, Summer of '42, Dirty Harry and The Exorcist (1973) were under Lederer's guidance. Exorcist II: The Heretic is Lederer's first film as a solo producer. He returned to produce _Hollywood Nights, The (1980)_. He later worked as a successful financier of Warner Bros, before his death in 2007.
