Lori Weintraub

Lori Weintraub was born in New York City and graduated with a degree in English Literature from Barnard College and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law. She started her career as an entertainment attorney at Manatt Phelps, and subsequently served as a production executive at Guber Peters Entertainment and MGM Studios. She supervised the development or production of many films including Beverly Hills Cop, The Color Purple, Top Gun and Batman. Under the umbrella of the Warner Music Group, she was co-founder and President of A Vision Entertainment, producing over fifty concerts and performance videos for WMG artists including Ray Charles, Phil Collins, Cream, EnVogue and Inxs. She was also founder and CEO of Warner Kids, and Time Warner Audiobooks, and Executive Vice President of Vivendi Universal internet ventures. She is the daughter of Sy Weintraub, producer of numerous Tarzan movies, owner of Panavision, and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Columbia Pictures, and Marge Grady, a model. She was married to actor Miguel Ferrer, son of Rosemary Clooney and Jose Ferrer, who passed away from cancer in 2017. She has two sons and two step-sons.
