When acting in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) he could not bear the heavy suit of snow monster he had to wear, and suffered from heat exhaustion. Most of the intended scenes for the "Ice Creature" (initially the Ice Creatures), were removed from the final version of the movie.
