Jim Tully was born on 3 June 1891 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He was a writer and actor, known for Laughter in Hell (1933), Beggars of Life (1928) and Way for a Sailor (1930). He was married to Myrtle Zwetow, Marna and Florence Bushnell. He died on 22 June 1947 in Hollywood, California, USA.
