Originally, Candace Cameron Bure played the role of Aurora Teagarden, but Hallmark fans were thrilled to see the movie series continue with a prequel starring Skyler Samuels as Aurora Teagarden.

Now, Hallmark+ is releasing the second in the prequel series, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Death At The Diner. Read on for more details of the mystery movie and its cast.

Hallmark+ has dropped its second Aurora Teagarden Mystery entitled Death At The Diner. Originally, Candace Cameron Bure starred in this role. Now, it is a prequel spinoff of the early days of the librarian-sleuth.

This stars Skyler Samuels and Evan Roderick. In addition, Og star Marilu Henner is also back as Aida, and there is a special guest star, Kimberley Sustad, as well as a Garage Sale Mysteries reunion.

David B. Grelck wrote this script, and Jessica Harmon is the director, who were both behind the excellent Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Lesson In Murder.

In 2013, Lori Loughlin stepped into the shoes of Jennifer Shannon in the inaugural Garage Sale Mystery film, a loose adaptation drawing inspiration from Suzi Weinert‘s novel, “Garage Sale Stalker.” Portraying the astute owner of an antique store with a penchant for solving murders.

Over the following six years, the Garage Sale Mystery movies gained a dedicated following, featuring Loughlin in every installment alongside a talented cast, including Steve Bacic, Sarah Strange, Eva Bourne, Connor Stanhope, and Kevin O’Grady.

The made-for-tv movie was a programming staple for the broadcast networks in the 1970s and 1980s. Marin Frist (Anne Heche) is a best-selling author and relationship coach who helps women find the right man, using her own life as an example. On a plane trip to attend an Alaska conference, she finds out that her finance has been cheating on her and realizes that she doesn't know as much as she thought she did. Marin decides to stay in the remote town (where the ratio of men to women is 10 to one) so that she can truly learn how to find and keep a good man, and write a new book.
