Born in St. Louis, Missouri, at 8 years old his mother moved David
and his brother John to Powell River, B.C.,Canada where he went to
school and played Junior Hockey. It was in high school that he was
first introduced to acting when his Literature teacher,( who was also
the director of the drama departments' annual play) offered to give him
a passing grade in class if David would perform the role of Emile de
Becque in "The South Pacific". Since moving to Los Angeles, has studied
with Milton Katselas at Beverly Hills Playhouse, Sandy Marshall and
most recently with Howard Fine.
He is also an ASA certified auto mechanic, NAUI certified scuba diver, SCCA certified race car driver and a Sparta certified sky diver.
