We’re embarking on a bit of an experiment with Meme beginning today. The format hasn’t changed much since I started writing this column three years ago– one giant post with snippets of information for you about pop culture, politics, my fear of cats (and why you too should fear them), cute animal stories, and the occasional Nsfw tidbit that I was afraid to print anywhere else.
This week we’re going to try breaking this unweildy behemoth up a bit, literally. In addition to a (shorter) grab bag morning post you’ll be getting several stories each day tagged as “Meme” — each as a standalone post.
The benefits to readers, I think, are we can be much more timely with news, provide more context when required, be more searchable, and allow you to share, say, a call to action about a protest with your mother, who may be gay supportive,...
