Jerzy Schejbal

Jerzy Schejbal is a renowned Polish actor and professor of theatrical arts. He completed his studies at the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow. After his education, he performed in various theaters including Teatr Ludowy in Krakow, Teatr im. J. Osterwy in Lublin, Teatr Polski in Poznan, and Teatr Wspolczesny in Wroclaw. Since 1980, he has been associated with Teatr Polski in Warsaw. From 1993 to 1996, he served as the dean of the Acting Department at the Wroclaw branch of PWST. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, Schejbal has received several prestigious awards, including the Golden Cross of Merit and the Silver Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture. His wife, Grazyna Krukówna, has been honored with the same accolades.
