Ivan Savov

Ivan Savov was born on February 8, 1956 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Ivan Savov is a well known name as an actor and as a director. He graduated National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1982 with a degree in acting in the class of Professor Nikolay Lyutskanov and his assistant Margarita Mladenova. After graduating Ivan Savov became an actor in the troupe of Dimitrovgrad Theater, where he played in "Pygmalion" by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Georgi Djulgerov and in "Romeo and Juliet" (character Romeo) by Shakespeare, directed by Margarita Mladenova. Then he played in Haskovo Theater, in the strongest period of the theater history, at the time of Ivan Dobchev. In 2010 he has returned as a director and set "Woman on us" by Alexei Slapovski. In 2011 he relies on mostly young actors in "Marriage" by Gogol, and two years later he made the play of the modern Russian author Sergey Medvedev "Hairdresser" and invites Kristina Yaneva, Valeri Yordanov and Plamen Sirakov. Ivan Savov took part in many Bulgarian Films.
