Booth Savage

Booth Savage, born on May 21, 1948, is a veteran Canadian actor of
film, stage and television. Savage attended York University in Toronto,
Ontario and graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts in 1992. Over the
course of Savage's career of 30+ years, he has been on numerous
television series and films. He is best known to Canadian audiences for
his role as a head coach in the miniseries
Canada Russia '72 (2006).
His television credits include work for such series as
Goosebumps (1995),
Rabbit Fall (2007),
Being Erica (2009) and
Mr. D (2012). Having a deep root in
theatre, Booth Savage still remains connected in stage and playwriting.
His works include 'Savage Heat', 'DADS', 'Reversing Falls', 'Pillow
Talk', 'Pajama Games', and 'This Bloody Business' which all have been
performed across many stages throughout Canada. His theatrical heritage
also includes his status as an original member of the Toronto theatre
company Theatre Passe Muraille and the Toronto Free Theatre. With the
exception of the Yukon, Savage has performed in plays held in every
province and territory throughout Canada.
