Luis Robledo(I)

With over two decades of experience in front of and behind the camera, Luis's career spans multiple state lines and diverse roles. As an actor, he honed his craft in Boston, MA, with the critically acclaimed theater company, The Harrison Project. In 1997, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue opportunities in television and film.

Luis gradually built a strong reputation in the casting community, earning guest-starring roles in notable TV shows such as Six Feet Under, The X Files, The Shield, and CSI: Miami. He also secured a recurring role in the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated PBS series, American Family: Journey of Dreams. His film credits include Havoc, directed by Oscar nominee Barbara Kopple and starring Anne Hathaway and Freddy Rodriguez, as well as the cult hit God's Army. Recently, he has appeared in indie features such as Down and Dangerous, playing DEA Agent Arturo Rezendes, and the award-winning spy thriller A Lonely Place for Dying, alongside James Cromwell and Michael Wincott.

Luis's passion for filmmaking led him to explore writing, directing, and editing. His first short film, El Taxista, has been an official selection at 19 festivals worldwide, earning five awards and five nominations. In 2010, he founded the Center for the Cinematic Arts, Inc., a unique blend of production company and education center. The CFCA offers workshops like 'Actor's Gym' and 'Gym Shorts,' designed to give actors on-set experience. Luis has directed over fifty short films for CFCA, Inc., including the TV series mini-pilot The Retreat. His documentary work includes producing and editing Lamar Odom Reborn and the multi-award-winning The Song That Calls You Home. in 2024 he began work on a sequel to The Song That Calls You Home, slated for release in 2026.
