Daniel Louis Rivas was born and raised in New York City to a Mexican father and a Russian-Jewish mother from Venezuela. A multimedia performer since he was a child, his first speaking role was opposite Gary Oldman in the classic film Sid and Nancy (1986). Rivas has appeared in the films Cherry (2010), Adrenaline (2003), Shackles (2005), Never Been Kissed (1999), and Altamont Now (2008). His first feature as a producer and lead actor, Junkie (2012), was distributed by Gunpowder & Sky and Federgreen Entertainment/IndieCan Entertainment. His TV credits include a recurring role on New York Undercover (1994) (Fox), Hand of God (2014) (Amazon), Rizzoli & Isles (2010) (TNT), American Crime (2015) (ABC), The It Factor: Los Angeles (2003) (Bravo), and as fan-favorite recurring character Kyle Davis on NCIS (2003) (CBS). Aside from movies and television, he is also a writer and artist. His paintings have been in solo and group art shows in New York, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam.
