Mukesh Rishi was born on 19 April 1956 in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, India. He is an actor and producer, known for Sarfarosh (1999), Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) and Gunda (1998). He is married to Keshni Rishi.
Starred in the shelved film Quasar Films Pvt Ltd's "Champion" with Tabu,Naseeruddin Shah,Introducing Mukesh Rishi. Produced and Directed by Shekher Kapur in 1987/1989. This was Tabu 1st film announced. In 1990,Shekhar Kapur wanted Manisha Koirala for the film. But Subhash Ghai refused to let her sign the film due to her contract. After Champion got shelved officially, Tabu was signed for Prem. The subject of Champion was later going to be used for Bobby Deol's debut film "Badal"
His wife is a Fijian-Indian. Her name is Keshni and is from Rakiraki in the Fiji Islands. She met Mukesh in Chandigardh College where she was studying .
