Emmy nominated and award winning producer Lara Wickes, daughter of Eleanor Calbes, renowned Canadian Opera Company Soprano, and best selling author, David A.B. Wickes, was raised in Toronto, Canada and has resided in Los Angeles since 1999.
After beginning her career in front of the camera, Lara diligently moved her way up to production: from award winning theater productions to webisodes, short films to features, and producing hundreds of promo shoots in the television marketing space.
Lara has led and mentored many in her journey and continues to do so as the Vice President of Creative Marketing Production at Disney overseeing ABC, Hulu Originals, Freeform and Onyx Collective.
