Veselin Rankov

Veselin Stefanov Rankov is a Bulgarian actor, performing roles in theater, film, television and dubbing. He was born in Balchik, Bulgaria. His older brother is actor Krasimir Rankov. In 1977 Veselin Rankov was accepted at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria, but because of his military service he began to study in 1979 in the class of Professor Elka Mihaylova. He graduated with a degree in "Acting for Theater" in 1983. In 1983 he started working in the Haskovo Drama Theater "Ivan Dimov" and since 1984 he works in the Bulgarian's Army Theater. In 1990, he became associate professor at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art. Since 2002 he begins to lead a class in "Acting" at the Academy. In 2009 he participated in the series "Forbidden Love". Veselin Rankov is actively engaged in dubbing of commercials, films and series from the 80th of the twentieth century. Better known for his work on "Faulty Towers," "Hello, hello!", "Black adder," "Perfect Strangers," "Alf," "Seinfeld," "Mr. Bean", "Mad Men", "Modern family" and "Raising Hope."
