Antonella Ponziani (Bella Antonella Ponziani)
Actress/Director/Singer/Saxophonist is one of the most successful
actresses in Italian television and cinema. Her work has been
celebrated with many awards for Best Actress including the prestigious
David di Donatello 'David' award, the Italian equivalent of an Oscar.
Bella Antonella also recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award
for Beauty and Kindness by the Bibbiena Film Festival(April 2013).
A woman now and a teenager then, she starred as the young on screen love of iconic Italian director, Federico Fellini, in Intervista (1987) which would be his second to last film. The youngest Fellini muse by over twenty years, she holds in her hand an era of Italian filmaking that became and is still an international sensation, holding a place of renown in classic cinema. With over a hundred television and film projects to her credit as actress, she also directed and wrote the Italian comedy cult movie RAI TV production, L'Ultimo Mundial(1999), and three short films.
Antonella is a world-class saxophone player and singer and is now working on several USA release films as a director, actress, and writer. She lives in Rome, Italy.
