Hulu has planned to churn out some amazing content in August. From the premiere of highly awaited original shows to the streaming release of blockbuster films, the streaming platform has a lot to offer.

For starters, we are getting the fourth season of the hit mystery comedy-drama, Only Murders in the Building. But that’s not all! Here are all the shows and films being added on Hulu in August 2024:

Rock Paper Scissors is coming to Nickelodeon next month. The cable channel announced the premiere date for the new animated series with the release of a poster.

The series' cast features Ron Funches as Rock, Thomas Lennon as Paper, and Carlos Alazraqui as Scissors. The Nickelodeon series began as a 2019 animated short and follows the trio of best friends and roommates on their various adventures. The cast also includes Melissa Villaseñor and Eddie Pepitone.

“Better Call Saul” actor Bob Odenkirk, “Pitch Perfect” star Anna Kendrick and acclaimed comedians Chelsea Handler and Eric André are among the lineup South by Southwest (SXSW) announced for its upcoming comedy festival.

The comedy festival will include improv, stand-up showcases, live podcast recordings and conversations.

“Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine” finally dropped on Netflix on Tuesday — and your favorite Trump lip-sync star did not disappoint with the celebrity cameos.

In the roughly 50-minute comedy special, directed by Natasha Lyonne with Maya Rudolph, Cooper primarily stars as herself, the host of a morning news show called “Everything’s Fine” where, you guessed it, everyone pretends everything is just fine despite the chaos that is 2020 and the Trump administration.

If you’re looking for more Trump lip-sync moments, Cooper delivers — and adds a couple more people to her repertoire. Megan Thee Stallion and Helen Mirren are among the guest stars set for Sarah Cooper’s Netflix special entitled “Everything’s Fine.”

It is not yet known who the rapper and Oscar winner (respectively) will portray in the special streaming Oct. 27. But they are far from the only big-name special guests joining Cooper in sketches and interviews that comment on political and racial issues, as well as topics of gender and class. At the end of the day, both people and demons alike just want to feel important. No one is immune to this level of vulnerability, whether it’s Leonard, Kenny, or even the community of Willard’s Mill (apparently it’s quite difficult to shed the “famous for burning witches” reputation).

Stan Against Evil star John C. McGinley described the upcoming third season, which premieres on Halloween night, as “subversive and fantastic.” In an age where there’s no shortage of ambition with niche comedies, IFC’s horror comedy is ready to take one giant leap forward. It’s almost October again, which means that a new season of bloody, belligerent supernatural extermination is right around the corner for Stan Against Evil! IFC’s homage to classic horror and monsters features John C. It also includes stand-up specials from the Sklar Brothers, Brian Posehn and Lachlan Patterson, along with The Pistol Shrimps, the documentary about a group of showbiz folks including Aubrey Plaza who play in a women’s recreational basketball league in L.A.

One thing we’ve come to expect from Stan Against Evil is a wide range of original demonic creatures and monsters. The upcoming Stan Against Evil Season 3 is poised to bring even more of that to the small screen, but with some familiar faces behind those masks. The IFC horror-comedy is coming back for eight episodes with an impressive crop of guest stars ready to haunt Willard’s Mill.

Starring John C. McGinley (Scrubs) and Janet Varney (You’re the Worst), Stan Against Evil was created by Dana Gould (The Simpsons) and is executive produced by Tom Lassally (Silicon Valley) with McGinley also serving as a producer.

The third season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriendhas taken a dark turn, successfully working through the pains of mental illness while mining both humorous and heartwrenching moments. It's a balancing act that's difficult to get right, but The CW musical dramedy has done it.

At the heart of it all is Paula Proctor (Donna Lynne Champlin), the Bff and motherly figure to the show's main protagonist, Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom). Though she's had prominent storylines before, tonight's episode, the seventh of the season, puts her front and center. In "Getting Over Jeff," Paula brings Rebecca along as she goes back home to Buffalo, New York, to visit with her dad, played by comedian Eddie Pepitone, and see if there's any spark left to her childhood crush, i.e. her Josh Chan, Jeff Channington. That line describes the basic plot of 5 Doctors, which is looking to finish its post-production by raising some funds on Kickstarter.

As we can see in a trailer, the 5 Doctors referred to in the film's title represent one of Spencer's comforts; they are akin to five home-cooked meals. As he visits them, he will have a number of reflective experiences, aided by his friend Jay (Matt Porter), who chauffeurs him from one appointment to the next.

Hell, yeah! Adult Swim has renewed Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell for a third season. They were sneaky little devils about it, though. There is no press release from parent-company Turner and nothing in the entertainment media.

This live-action workplace comedy features Henry Zebrowski as Gary, an associate demon trying to climb Hell's corporate ladder by ensnaring human souls. The Bitter Buddha is a documentary that tells the story of comedian Eddie Pepitone’s failure to have become a successful comedian by age 52.

Understandably, he’s bitter; it’s the nectar of his humor. The “Buddha” part is less obvious. If it was intended to mock his improved outlook after achieving sobriety, I’m not laughing. Maybe this is a clue why comedic success has eluded him.<

That’s not entirely fair for me to say. He is actually very funny, albeit inconsistently. He’s addicted to tweeting, here’s my favorite featured in the movie: ”Whenever someone yells ‘can I get a woot woot?’ I like to yell ‘only if you promise to read a book in your lifetime.”<
