Mumbai, April 28 (Ians) Actor Sooraj Pancholi, who was acquitted of suicide abetment charges in the actress Jiah Khan death case on Friday, has finally broken his silence.

The actor, in a statement, spoke about “winning his dignity back”.

“The verdict has taken 10 long painful years and sleepless nights. But today, I have not only won this case but also won my dignity and confidence back. It took a lot of courage to face the world with such heinous allegations,” he said.

Actor Sooraj Pancholi starrer "Satellite Shankar" is scheduled to hit the screens on November 15.

The Mumbai Police on Thursday lodged a rape case against Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi on a complaint filed by a well-known actress. Mumbai Police spokesperson Deputy Commissioner of Police Manjunath Shinge confirmed the developments but declined to elaborate.

The release date of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's debut film Hero has been announced and it is all set to release on 25th September, 2015.

Sharing the poster, the official handle of the film confirmed this news on a microblogging site. "Mark the date - 25th September, 2015 to welcome the #Hero," read the post.

The film will be produced by Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film will also star Aditya Pancholi, Tigmanshu Dhulia and others.

Ever since the film Hero's remake (which is also titled as Hero) was announced, it has been making news for many reasons.
