Mike Pace is a professional stand-up comic. He came on to the comedy scene with a mullet, an oversized jacket, a skinny tie and a pair of untied high-tops. Now? The jacket is too small, neckties drive him crazy and he's finally learned to tie his shoes.
The thirty-year comedy veteran started on stage in improvisational comedy. He also studied theatre and developed a deep passion for both acting and comedy.
Audiences have an instant bond with Mike. Mike's act is a series of characters and one minute, one act plays about childhood, family, parenthood, marriage, divorce, dating and growing older - all enhanced by his ability to become character after character. He paints mental pictures that will burn in your head for a lifetime.
Mike recently returned from his tenth tour of Iraq and Afghanistan and has also entertained the troops in Korea, Guam, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and stateside and is deeply committed to supporting veterans.
The St. Louis native has also been seen on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiam," Showtime's "Comedy Club All Stars, TBS's "Very Funny Live," and ABC's "Comics Unleashed. He has shared the stage with comedy legends Dana Carvey, Rodney Dangerfield, Chris Rock and Sam Kinison. He has also opened for Bob Dylan, BB King, Natalie Cole, Charo and Lou Rawls.
He is a favorite in Las Vegas and clubs all over the country. He has recently added cruise ships to his venue resume and has been entertaining Royal, Carnival, Celebrity and Princess passengers.
