Nigel Odell, founder and CEO at Clock End Films, has a filmmaking career spanning more than 30 years. Nigel has written, directed and produced in both the UK and Australia. He started out in London writing and directing corporates and music videos and moved on to drama shorts at the National Film & TV School. He produced his first feature in 1994 and subsequently moved to Australia where he has been working for the past 25 years.
He was a co-founder of Melbourne based Instinct Entertainment in 1999 and was in charge of Development & Production. In 2007 he moved to Arclight Films to head up Australasian Production & Acquisitions. He left Arclight in 2011 and founded Clock End Films.
Nigel's credits include "Funny Man" starring Christopher Lee, "Till Human Voices Wake Us" starring Guy Pearce and Helena Bonham Carter, "Strange Bedfellows" starring Paul Hogan and Pete Postlethwaite, "Long Weekend" starring Jim Caviezel & "The Very Excellent Mr Dundee" starring Paul Hogan, Jacob Elordi and John Cleese.
Nigel is a member of SPA (Screen Producers Australia) and a former two term Council member. He is also a former member of Screen Victoria's Investment Committee.
