Thomas Noguchi

Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner for the County of Los Angeles, who served in that position from 1967 to 1982. Performed the autopsies of Marilyn Monroe, Albert Dekker, Robert F. Kennedy, Sharon Tate, Inger Stevens, Janis Joplin, Gia Scala, David Janssen, William Holden, Natalie Wood and John Belushi. Worked under Theodore Curphey. He was later appointed Chief of Pathology at the University of Southern California and then as Administrative Pathologist for Anatomic Pathology services at LAC+USC Medical Center.

Risky behavior, including alcohol and drugs, can be the cause of premature death. Many are preventable.
