Producer Savita Raj Hiremath’s 2006 Bollywood cult classic “Khosla Ka Ghosla!” is being remade in the Telugu, Marathi and Kannada languages, it was revealed on the sidelines of the Busan International Film Festival’s Asian Contents and Film Market.
Directed by Dibakar Banerjee and written by Jaideep Sahni, the Hindi-language film followed Khosla, a Delhi-based retired middle-class man who tries to get his land back from a swindling property dealer with the help of his sons and their friends.
The Kannada version will be directed by Adarsh Eshwarappa (“Shuddhi”), the Telugu version by Vinod Anantoju (“Middle Class Melodies”) and the Marathi one by Kedar Shinde (“Baipan Bhari Deva”).
“To most Indians building a home in a lifetime is like a dream come true. It is relatable to a pan-Indian audience as property fraud is paramount and witnessed in large measure. Thus the remakes of ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla!’ will be apt...

It's been a sad week for Bollywood, as two veteran actors have set for heavenly abode. While Navin Nischol passed away last week, Bob Christo (70) passed away in Bangalore on Sunday afternoon. He was hospitalized after a massive heart attack on Saturday afternoon. After having debuted with Abdullah, Bob went onto create and carve a niche place for himself in Bollywood; most of his roles were that of a villain's henchman and evil British officer in period films. Not many know that this man was a qualified civil engineer. The actor of Australian origin went on to act in over 200 movies, which included films like Mard, Qurbani, Mr. India, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja and Gumraah, to name a few. Ironically, the actor's biography titled 'Flashback: My Times in Bollywood and Beyond' was to be released by Akshay Kumar in June. Bollywood Hungama prays for the departed man's soul to rest in eternal peace.

Fame is fickle. Sadhana, Nanda and Nimmi, who were the toast of Hindi cinema, are long forgotten now and lead secluded lives in a city that once worshipped them. Others like Parveen Babi, Nadira and Suraiya died lonely and unloved.Parveen was considered one of the most glamorous actresses in the 1970s and was often seen playing modern, unconventional women in films like 'Deewaar', 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Shaan' and 'Kaalia'.The actress had much talked about affairs with Kabir Bedi and Mahesh Bhatt but never married. She was said to be suffering from a delusional disorder and in her last days, addiction to drugs and alcohol left her to lead a secluded life. She was found dead in her apartment in 2005 due to complications from diabetes.Something similar happened to Nadira. Often cast as a vamp, she made her name with '...

Surprisingly, in spite of the fact that both of them have been pretty active in the film circuit for decades, no filmmaker thought of casting them together. However, debutant director Arup Dutta grabbed the opportunity and brought them together in Morning Walk which is said to be 'a beautiful and heart tugging tale of two families different from one another yet connected through a special bond'. The first ever production of Inox Motion Pictures, Morning Walk also stars Rajit Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Shayan Munshi & Nargis (Garam Masala, Pranali) in principal roles.
