This Blu is a fascinating hybrid of experimental film and historical documentary by Bill Morrison of Decasia fame. Lost film history and the vanished era of the Dawson Gold Rush blend into one story — all touched off by the discovery of tons of rare silent film, buried in the cold ground of the Canadian Yukon. And Donald Trump’s in there too! In the show, not the snow.

Ed Sheeran is having a major moment right now, and we really can't think of anyone who deserves it more. After his new album, Divide, was released in early March, the singer has been all over the map. In addition to delivering one killer performance after the next, he's also opened up about his romance with girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, touched on his friendship with Taylor Swift, and inspired some pretty unbelievable dance videos. But do you ever say to yourself, "I would really love to know more about him"? Us too. Keep reading for 10 fun facts you might not have known about the "Supermarket Flowers" singer. In 2009, he played in more than 300 live shows and gigs while trying to get noticed. When Ed was just 18, he played a show almost every single day of the year in order to try to build his career from the ground up. "I gigged pretty much every day,...

Matthew Morrison and his new wife Renee Puente are packing up and leaving Los Angeles. The couple exclusively tells me that they're moving to New York after Glee wraps its final season early next year. And if all goes as planned, Mr. Morrison will be returning to Broadway. "Something is in the works," he said at his Halloween and birthday party at Hyde, presented by Freixenet Spanish Cava and Eric Podwall Entertainment. "We're working on something. It's a brand-new show. Hopefully, it all works out. I'm looking forward to getting back on stage. Those are my roots. My heart is on the stage." The Morrisons have only been married for a little more than a week, but they...

Treating themselves to a fabulous destination wedding, Matthew Morrison married Renee Puente on Saturday (October 18) in Maui, Hawaii.
Though the “Glee” hunk and his lovely lady had originally planned on saying “I Do” in 2015, they decided to bump up the nuptials and now they’re husband and wife.
Matthew and Renee welcomed 50 guests to the private estate where they were entertained by pianist Chad Whidden and singer Kiley Dean.
And of course Ms. Puente was gorgeous in a custom-made Gustavo gown and Emmy London heels while Mr. Morrison got all gussied up in a Brooks Brothers tuxedo.

I hate apologizing on behalf of American Idol. We should be enjoying this! This is our joy! My joy! My Seacrest-sponsored rapture. My karaoke vomitorium pandemonium extravaganza. But sigh. Every once in awhile Idol is a silly suckfest for losers, and tonight was one of those nights. Ten dudes entered, and I'm telling you that at least eight of them were lame enough to dismiss completely. Randy Jackson shrugs wildly and pouts, "What is going on here?!" Besides you and your patronizing chuckles, Randy, not much.
Before we begin, it's time to note that Nicki Minaj's "infuriated" reactions whenever Mariah Carey speaks are annoying. What is she reacting to? Anything? It makes me mad. And then, of course Mariah makes me mad with her simplistic, pandering critiques and nervous, non-committal energy. Ugh! Hop on your jetski and hit me with some of that "Honey" video swag, M.C.!

After how weak the men were last week and the ridiculous pick of Zoanette last night, we are kind of dreading "American Idol" tonight, fans. Let's hope this final group in Las Vegas can be as strong as the first round of women.
The judges are introduced and once again, Mariah Carey has on a very low-cut top. You'd think after her nip slip, she'd rein those puppies in a little better.
1. Mathenee Treco, "A Little Less Conversation," Elvis
This is a really fun song, but it's not a song for a vocalist. The melody has about four notes and the lyrics are too fast, plus he has slowed it down, which does make the lyrics a little easier to understand, but it makes the song lose a lot of its fun swagger. This is very karaoke and his falsetto stuff is all over the place. This should (hopefully) not...

A man discovered he'd picked up something pretty special for only a dollar at an estate sale. He'd thought he was just picking up any old high school yearbook, but this one turned out to be a yearbook from John Wayne's high school. Even better, it was from Wayne's senior year. So he brought it into the "Pawn Stars" to see what they thought of the rare item.
Wayne's name was Marion Morrison back then, and the guys at the shop quickly discovered that he was all over that yearbook. Morrison played football, was class president and was very active in the arts. And each appearance of Mr. Morrison throughout the yearbook made it a better and better find.
The shop was thrilled with the yearbook and made a deal with the customer to buy it for $800. Considering he'd spent $1, that turned out to be a great purchase for him.

A classic filler episode, this week feels like Sam’s direct response to Dean’s Amy Pond betrayal earlier this season. So, without further ado…
Open with a man sitting in his apartment. Judging by the place, it seems he is a well-off banker-type guy. Suddenly an unseen assailant pops open the door and walks in with a knife.
And before we can say “look out!” he is thrown all over the place. His hands and feet are hacked off while he’s still alive, and a symbol is carved into his chest. No surprise, but the man bleeds to death.
In the Impala, Dean catches his forty-winks while Sam drives to the scene of crime. Suddenly he wakes up and takes a swig from Bobby’s flask, justifying it to his brother as grief therapy. He is just honoring the guy. So down is Dean that he claims that...

Bleeding Cool have posted an update to earlier story detailing a North Carolina comic store owner's boycotting of Grant Morrison's Action Comics #1 because of the below panel caused quite a stir here on Cbm, with very strong opinions from all sides. Now said owner of Comics Conspiracy has issued an apology. First and foremost, I want to make a formal apology to Grant Morrison. I made a statement in anger after reading the issue in question after the store closed on Wednesday. Mr. Morrison, I most humbly apologize for calling you a “Scottish schmuck”, I was way out of line. This is a true heartfelt apology. For right now though, I have to admit that the can of worms that has been opened is much larger than I ever dreamed it would be. But that’s Ok. There are a lot of interesting views here mixed in among the hate.

Music thumping. Dapper men. Smoky women. Curvy leather couches. Comic books? That was the scene at Isotope Comics in San Francisco at Grant Morrison’s book signing for Supergods: What Masked Vigilantes, Miraculous Mutants And A Sun God From Smallville Can Teach Us About Being Human.
Everything about Isotope falls inline with Morrison’s idealistic voice; it’s loud, colorful, rebellious and chic; in short it’s everything that makes comics great but without any of the geek in fighting. The joint was as shoved as full as a speakeasy with waify goths and formal gentlemen all atwitter with the gospel of Morrison.
The friendly crowd discussed current comics tabloid fodder including the death of Ultimate Spider-Man and the DC relaunch. By far, however, the crowd was chatting up Morrison’s new book; those who had already read the tome filled others in on some of the choice details.
Like some cult comics Mormon mob,...

First we got People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive issue with Ryan Reynolds on the cover (and Matthew Morrison inside) and now we have Mr. Morrison on the cover of the new Details with all kinds of gorgeous photos inside and a nice interview.
Here are some of the photos and some excerpts from the interview:
On being a straight actor in a theater scene dominated by women and gay men:“There was so much opportunity. There were all these beautiful, beautiful dancers. As a straight guy I had some room. There were the shared interests in singing and dancing, and I always find dancing with someone very evocative and sexual. I definitely hooked up with a lot of girls when I was a young guy on Broadway. It was exciting. Very joyous and free.

Highlights, song choices and judges input from tonight's Top Ten Idol Guy Performances:
Michael Lynche--"This is a Man's World" (James Brown)--Rave reviews from all judges; Randy gave him a standing ovation. Simon said 'completely different from last week'. (Sure kept my attention!)
John Park-----"Gravity" (John Mayer)---Randy says it wasn't special with a few pitch problems. Ellen and Kara agree it was better than last week, but needed soul and connection to the audience. Simon says he thinks John will be returning to his own band this week. (Pretty forgettable.)
Casey James----"I Don't Wanna Be" (Gavin Degraw)---Randy praised his guitar playing, saying he was channeling Hendrix. Ellen says she wants to see him perform more. (??) Kara says Casey took two steps backwards for her and his singing wasn't distinct or on key. Simon says he was trying to be a rock star and agrees...

The two best performances of the night book-ended the "American Idol" Season 9 Top 10 men -- Michael Lynche and Lee Dewyze.
The Top 10 men were 100% better than last week. Of course, that's like saying something is 100% better than being punched in the face.
Still, good for the guys -- they didn't get down-in-the-mouth after last week's harsh criticism. Instead, they came back with a vengeance and, well, it's better. It's still not great, but there is hope. So, in our order from best to worst, here are your Top 10 men:
No. 1 Michael Lynche
First of all, that shot of him arm-curling Aaron Kelly in his video package? Hilarious. Michael makes me think of, "Every morning at the mine you'd see him arrive, he stood 6'6 and weighed 245. Kinda broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip. And everybody knew you didn't give no lip to Big Mike."
Anyway. Michael went...

The second night of "American Idol" showcased the talents of the 12 guys who are hoping to win the "Idol" title -- and then America voted. On Thursday night, four will be sent home: two women and two men, taking us to next week and the Top 20. Todrick Hall kicked off the night with a unique version of Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone." Ellen DeGeneres began the critiques, saying, "That is what you are looking for after you sing a song. [The audience reaction.] You are dancer, so you already have a stage presence. The chorus was rough. The singing wasn't the greatest, but a great performance." Randy Jackson said, "I think you are mad talented, but I didn't even know what song it was. You never want to take a song and completely obliterate it. I still want to see you sing." Kara DioGuardi added, "I think you are a strong...
