She is a graduate student at the University of Minnesota.
She grew up in Ellendale, North Dakota.
She was nominated for a 1975 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Play for her performance in "The Farm" at the Academy Festival Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
Her husband, Porter Van Zandt, is a well-known stage producer/director,
and her daughter, Kirstin Mooney, works in the art department on many
major feature films.
