Aedín Moloney is an award winning actor, producer and director. Aedín is the director and producer of a film: "Rising, a rush of souls" (2021), for Fallen Angel Theatre. She has collaborated with Colum McCann (Apeirogon, Let the Great World Spin) on an award winning adaptation and performance, "Yes! Reflections of Molly Bloom, 2019/2020" and with Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains - on a full audio recording of the same. Aedín played Sister Mary Michael in season two of The Knick, directed by Stephen Soderbergh & Mum in The Exorcist for Fox TV, and is known for her roles of Eva Joyce in Nora (2000) opposite Ewan Mcgregor and the BBC hit TV series, Ballykissangel (1999). Aedín is a company member of Airwayv (Launched in 2016) and featured in 2 new radio plays: Iron Will and Taking Care of Paul. and for wnyc pr Radio and in 2014 Dubliners: A Quartet (2014) by Arthur Yorinks, based on the works of James Joyce for WNYC NPR Radio. Recent theatre includes The Irish Rep's production of The Dead by James Joyce, the role of Morag in the acclaimed NYC hit When I was a Girl I used to Scream and Shout at Fallen Angel Theatre & Margaret Willoughby in the revival of Women Without Men at The Mint Theatre, New York City. In 2013 Aedin won Best Actress in New Jersey for her role as George Eliot in the world premiere of A Most Dangerous Woman by Cathy Tempelsman, at Shakespeare NJ, directed by tony winner, Richard Maltby and was an award winner again in 2014 starring as Dol Common in The Alchemist at Shakespeare NJ, directed by Bonnie Monte. Aedín is founder & producing artistic director of New York's, Fallen Angel Theatre, whose NYC hits include Airswimming(2013) & Eva the Chaste(2011). In 2012 she played Rose in the acclaimed production of Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel at the Irish Rep in New York.
