With the supernatural buddy cop film "R.I.P.D." hitting theaters this Friday, now's the perfect time to take a look at some behind-the-scenes action. This new - and exclusive - featurette shows the hard work that went into splatting actress Marissa Miller against a bus' windshield.

Miller portrays officer Roy Pulsipher's avatar, marking the first - and most likely last - time that Jeff Bridges will share a role with a former Victoria's Secret model. As "R.I.P.D." actor Kevin Bacon explains in the featurette, avatars are how undead R.I.P.D. officers appear to the living while conducting investigations on Earth. Rookie officer Ryan Reynolds gets a Chinese man, veteran Jeff Bridges gets a model.

Ryan Reynolds dies and becomes an old Chinese guy played by James Hong in Robert Schwentke’s “R.I.P.D.”, a movie that (in case you couldn’t guessed) is based on a comic book. Jeff Bridges co-stars as his partner, who has been around a while, which might explain why when people see him, they see supermodel Marissa Miller. Hey, seniority has its privileges, ya know. See, they’re playing ghost cops. Or cop ghosts. One of those. Check out the first trailer for “R.I.P.D.” It’s a heck of a lot better than I thought it would be, I have to admit. The fact that they’re just now rolling out the promos for the movie with only three months until it hits theaters had me worried for a while. Hopefully it’ll do well, if only to give Reynolds’ career a jump and lead to that “Deadpool” movie we’ve all been waiting for.

The Napster founder and former president Facebook welcomed baby girl Winter Victoria on Jan. 6 with his fiance Alexandra! Congrats to the happy couple!

Sean Parker can now add father to his long list of impressive ventures. The tech entrepreneur and his fiance, singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas, welcomed their first child together on Jan. 6 when Alexandra gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

The couple, who got engaged in February 2011, named their daughter Winter Victoria Parker, Us Weekly is reporting. The couple announced their upcoming arrival in September, and revealed to the magazine they were “very happy and really looking forward to what the new year will bring.”

Aside from welcoming their daughter early this year, the Napster founder and Facebook billionaire are planning to get married in 2013 as well.

Marissa Miller, at 14-years old, found national fame in perhaps the most unexpected -- and embarrassing -- way possible in 2009. The Pennsylvania teen was brought up on child pornography charges for a picture of her in a bra. Her story was featured on the latest "My Life Is a Lifetime Movie." Miller's case was the first federal case involving "sexting."

It all started to go wrong for the teen when Miller’s friend snapped a picture of Miller in her bra at a slumber party years before. That picture wound up on a male student's cell phone, and that was all it took for then-district attorney George Skumanick. R.I.P.D., which stands for Rest In Peace Department, is based on a Dark Horse comic book and revolves around a newly deceased cop that agrees to work for the afterlife police department for 100 years in exchange for hunting down his killer. The mission of the R.I.P.D. is to take care of those dearly departed that put up resistance when it’s time to depart. It’s not the easiest job in the world because the boss is really The Boss and being told to go to Hell could actually be part of a job assignment.

Wednesday's announcement that Facebook co-founder, CEO and pop culture phenomenon, Mark Zuckerberg, was named Time magazine's illustrious Person of the Year has led to many in the media crying that the choice blasphemes the church that is the hallowed Person of the Year legacy. I was one of the people on Time's panel to nominate and argue over who was most deserving of the title. My two choices were the Tea Party and Mark Zuckerberg. The Time panel consisted of myself, Joe Trippi, Google's Marissa Miller (who petitioned hard for Steve Jobs to be considered for Person of the Year), Wyclef Jean, and the executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement Daisy Khan. Everyone chose both interesting and poignant candidates.

New York — Who says there's no room for divas in the military? On Friday night, VH1 brought out the big guns in female music — plus their male backed bands — for "VH1 Divas Salute the Troops," taped at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego. Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson, Paramore, Sugarland, Heart and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals all performed for the troops, along with special celebrity appearances.

Set in a large air hangar, hostess Kathy Griffin made a grand entrance atop a missile flanked by Marines, wearing nothing but a camouflage bikini. She set the tone for the night by reading the official Uso rules for entertainers, and then proceeded to break every single one.

This year's installment, which pays tribute to our nation's troops and their families, is already set to feature performances by Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Keri Hilson. And on Tuesday (November 30), a string of stars, including two "Jersey Shore" castmembers were announced as presenters for "2010 VH1 Divas Salute the Troops."

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Brandy, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Marisa Miller and comedian Jeffrey Ross are scheduled to present at the show, which airs on Sunday. Kathy Griffin hosts the event at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego.

London, Apr 29 – Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has been named the world’s sexiest woman for the second year in row.

The X Factor judge, estimated to be worth 10 million pounds, has left behind the likes of Transformers star Megan Fox and underwear model Marissa Miller.

The singer is the first Brit to top the FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll.
