Igor Mirkurbanov was working in Theatre Gesher (Israel), Theatre of Leander Hausmann (Bochum, Germany), Theatre of Tadasi Suzuki (Toga, Shizuoka, Japan) and the Taganka Theatre (Moscow). He became an actor of Moscow Art Theatre in 2013.
Igor Mirkurbanov is the winner of the Theatre Award "Golden Mask" -2015 in the nomination "Drama / Actor" for his work in the play by Konstantin Bogomolov "Karamazovy" in the Moscow Art Theatre (Fyodor Karamazov). Also, he is the winner of the theatre award "Crystal Turandot" -2015 in the nomination "Best Actor" for his work in the play "Walpurgis Night" by Mark Zakharov in the Moscow Theater Lenkom (Venichka Yerofeyev), winner of the award of Oleg Yankovsky and the award of Oleg Tabakov.
