Teresa Medina is an internationally recognized Spanish cinematographer. After graduating from the prestigious American Film Institute, Medina broke gender barriers by quickly rising through Hollywood's ranks. Her efforts were recognized with the Kodak Vision Award .
Teresa is best known by her work on the world-wide series GILMORE GIRLS, and edgy independent features such as, THINGS I NEVER TOLD YOU and FEMALE PERVERSIONS among others. A versatile cinematographer, she also shoots documentaries and commercials .
Medina was voted president of the Spanish Society of Cinematographers, (the first woman to hold that position) donates her time to several major film festivals and has mentored countless younger filmmakers
More recently, she had widened her talents to directing ( with several scripts in development), and music videos completed
Teresa has collaborated with such luminaries as Spike Lee, and peered through her lens at Al Pacino, Mimi Rogers, Billy Zane, Kris Kristofferson among others.
