- Christl Mardayn was born on December 8, 1896 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. She was an actress, known for Im weißen Rößl (1935), The Shanghai Drama (1938) and The Story of Vickie (1954). She was married to Hans Thimig and Paul Mühlbacher. She died on July 24, 1971 in Vienna, Austria.

- Soulful-eyed, brunette Viennese singer and actress, who appeared in light operatic films and romances during the 1930's, 40's and 50's. A banker's daughter, she began on stage in 1920 after studies at the Akademie für Musik und darstellende Kunst. She performed in operas throughout Europe during the 20's. By the early 30's, she concentrated on stage and film acting, invariably in supporting roles. Mardayn was an ensemble member of the Theater in der Josefstadt between 1939 and 1943. Towards the end of her career, she held teaching positions at the Vienna Conservatory and at the Vienna Music Academy.
