Kate trained at RADA and works in theatre, television and film. She has co-written scripts for theatre, the BBC and Channel 4 and has been teaching Meisner technique for 20 years. She currently teaches at the Actors Centre, Arts Ed MA and BA courses, the National Opera Studio and at her own practice in the UK and internationally. Kate has written and performs her solo show The Old House, (RADA and Camden Fringe Festivals, Theatre 503, HighTide Aldeburgh, Assembly Roxy Edinburgh, Brighton Fringe 2020 ). Other recent theatre credits include Future Bodies with Unlimited Theatre and Rash Dash (Home Manchester and Northern Stage), Opening Skinner's Box with Improbable Theatre (Lincoln Centre Festival New York, Wexner Centre Ohio, Bristol Old Vic, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Northern Stage), One Cold Dark Night (The Bush), Four Minutes Twelve Seconds (Hampstead Theatre and Trafalgar Studios, Olivier nominated for Best Affiliate Show), Enduring Song (Southwark Playhouse). TV credits include Pan Tau (Caligari Films), Holby City, Giri/Haji (Netflix), Safe (Netflix), Lewis, Miranda, The Politician's Husband, Emmerdale, Absolute Power, Broken News. Film includes 6Underground (Netflix), Seven Lucky Gods (nominated for Best Supporting Actress at Milan Film festival).
