Jessica Malka

Jessica Malka was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Early on, she appeared in various youth television programming like Lassie, Watatatow, and 11 Somerset a double shoot - English and French - in which she was the series lead. In 2004, Jessica booked the exciting role of Marquise Lefrançois in the award-wining La Peau Blanche (Best Canadian First Feature, TIFF). On top of being featured on the cover of Canadian Front Film Festival (MOMA), she was hailed as playing her role with "...live-wire brazenness.." (variety.com).
Following this role, Jessica worked on numerous popular television shows in Quebec such as Minuit Le Soir, Nos Étés, and Providence as well as completing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from Concordia University. In 2012, Jessica moved to Toronto, Ontario to further her acting career. She trained at the Pro Actors Lab and booked roles on Being Human, Satisfaction, and Hannibal. Shortly after, she relocated to Los Angeles to study Improv at UCB and train at The Aquila Studio with the renowned Deborah Aquila. While in Los Angeles, Jessica booked commercial campaigns for North America and Europe as well as numerous short films.
