Doug was born at a very early age in Los Angeles, California. His father, an architect, and mother, an actress & model, were quite surprised.
He lived in Europe for a year at the tender age of 13, where he inadvertently picked up a number of accents - and a foreign language as well.
Once back in the US, he graduated from high school in Denver, Colorado and then returned to California to attend UCLA.
Broadcasting caught his attention so he spent a decade "on air" doing news, playing music, and even tried his hand in management as an operations director.
This only whetted his appetite for the performing arts, so he studied acting, did some stage, independent films, landed an agent, and hasn't looked back..
He enjoys skiing in exotic places and hiking.
