Otomar Krejca was born in November 23, 1921 in Skrysov by Pelhrimov of
former Czechoslovakia. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of
"Black Theater" or "Divadlo Za Branou", a theatrical form that uses
black fonds and actors or muppets in shiny colors. He made his best
works in the classic theater during the 60s and two of his most
brilliant directions were Milan Kundera's "Keyowners" and "Jacob and
his Master".
