Mark Kis-Szabo is an accomplished screenwriter with two decades in the film and TV industry. His action comedy "Budapest Heist" was the top Hungarian movie of 2020. The script of his historic adventure "Hadik" is in the Core Collection of the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. He was a finalist at Venice's Biennale College Cinema (2018) for "Replaceable". He won the HBO's Screenwriting Competition (1999) with "Badi Meller," also winning "Best Dialogues" at Budapest's 1st Open Film Festival (1997). His family adventure "In the Name of Sherlock Holmes" was awarded "Best Film 10-13 Years" at Stockholm's Junior Film Festival in 2013.
