Character actor and voice artist with distinctively high cheeks who served in the Army Air Corps as a pilot during WWII and pursued acting in New York following his discharge.
Co-founded the Town and Country Players theatre group in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1946. Appeared on stage both on the East Coast, and in California.
